Faoi Inniúil Streetwear

Starting a brand is something I’d been thinking about for years. I made a few attempts before but nothing ever fully came together. Either the timing wasn’t right or I wasn’t ready to commit. Still, the idea stuck with me.

The word Inniúil doesn’t have a direct translation but it has a few meanings which all refer to the same idea, being able to do something well, to be capable. That’s what this brand is about. Backing yourself and seeing where it can go and what you can do as an individual.

Having a space to make clothes and design around things I care about has been a big part of my own growth. I’ve been doing graphic design for years and always had an interest in fashion, especially streetwear and football clobber.

A proud moment recently was getting a sponsor board at Galway United F.C. It means a lot to support the local club while building something of my own. Inniúil has a strong connection to Galway and the people who back it. As of July 2025, we’ve also started sponsoring Galway Hibernians in Bohermore, a local team we’re proud to support.

I’ve been lucky to have sound friends and customers who’ve supported the brand through all the ups and downs. Without them I don’t think it would have kept going. I've still a lot to learn and a lot to conquer, but as a community they will be achieved together.
